At the 20th anniversary show of the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (ITSAF) in October, DuPont de Nemours showcased eco-friendly Sorona fibre. Invista's Lycra, Thermolite, and Coolmax products are important to high performance, next to skin, sports and outdoor wear. Cotton Council International and Cotton Incorporated presented innovations of the cotton world while Lenzing emphasised variations of the cellulo-sic fibre Tencel, Modal and Viscose; Birla Planet promoted a range of viscose and cellulosic products; Hyosung featured its polyester yarn and specialty nylon yarn, Creora and Korea Chemical Fibres Association pavilion presented polyester fibres and yarn manufacturers.
