Q-Lab Corporation, a global supplier of material durability testing products, has released a chamber for testing fabric for lightfastness. This xenon arc chamber called Q-Sun can test the degree of damage on a fabric caused by its exposure to full-spectrum sunlight, or even rain, and reproduce the damage on the fabric in a few days or weeks. It can also reproduce the damage that has occurred over months or years outdoors.
