The finishing process of technical textiles made its official transition from analogue to digital mode last month at Ten Cate's protective and outdoor fabrics plant in Nijverdal, the Netherlands. The first production machine for digital finishing on the basis of inkjet technology hummed into operation there on July 1. This new machinery, realised within the framework of European innovation programs, is the offspring of intensive cooperation between Xennia Technology, which is a part of Ten Cate, and Reggiani Macchine.
