摘要

The draw texturing process comprises three steps - twisting of parallel bundles of filament, setting the twist at suitable temperature and untwisting it. In modern texturing machines, these three steps are carried out simultaneously. The draw texturing process can be broadly classified into two groups: spindle, twisting process; and, friction twisting process. Over the past few years, friction twist texturing process has seen a new trend; it began dominating over spindle twist texturing process, because of its superior production speeds.
