摘要

The dyeability of the woven cotton fabrics improved with microwave treatment. The K/S values increased progressively as microwave power increased. The duration of treatment has a positive influence on colour strength. As the treatment time increases the K/S values also increase for both reactive and direct dyes; the overall fastness of the treated and dyed woven cotton fabrics increasing slightly compared with the overall fastness of the untreated and dyed woven cotton fabrics.
