Teijin Fibers, the core company of the Teijin Group's polyester fibres business, has developed a polyester fabric for work uniforms that can help to conserve electrical power in workplaces. This material that is available on the market since some two months ago has antistatic properties for enhanced safety and is environmentally friendly because it is made with recycled polyester and is recyclable through Teijin's Eco Circle closed-loop recycling system at the end of its useful lives.
