Switzerland's Hermann Biihler is now using a technology named the Rainbow technology to produce flexible melange (heather) yarns that can replace conventional melange yarns. Using Lenzing Micro Modal (1.0 dtex, fibre length 40 mm) as raw material, this technology can produce melange yarns by blending it with normal untreated fibres (a portion of 5%, 15% or 35% of Rainbow fibres).
