Hard waste from textile processing is not used for recycling although yarn waste can be opened into fibres for reuse and mixed with virgin cotton. This study examines the potential. There are many benefits in recycling waste that textile industry generates at various states of the production process. They include conservation of resources, reduction of the need for landfills and associated costs as well as raw material at low cost. However, recycling is not common in textile industry.
