I will not say here when the European Union introduced anti-dumping rules for leather shoe imports. I would rather like readers determine from the statistics provided below when, in fact, the anti-dumping rules came into force and to what effect. One thing we all must, however, be clear about: that is, if anti-dumping rules work as intended, they should help the EU shoe industry and hit the shoe industry of China and Vietnam.
