The Rieter Award, which was started in 1989 to encourage young talents and thereby also support universities and institutes in their efforts to recruit young people for textile training, marked its 21st annual presentation in mid-September in Winterthur, Switzerland.rnThis year's winners - Ambigai Velusamy from India, Musa Kilic from Turkey, Abror E. Razikov from Uzbekistan, Qiang Li from China and Rully Setiadi from Indonesia - received the awards from Rieter's Head of Markets, Reto Thorn at the end of their week-long tour of Rieter production facilities in Winterthur, its automotive production works in Sevelen and various parts of Switzerland.
