The effect of yarn and fabric factors on the drape, feel and comfort of clothing is receiving increasing consideration nowadays to fulfil garment makers' need to meet the exacting demands of consumers. This study examines the mechanical properties of woven polyester-viscose fabrics and their association with process variables- linear density, fibre profile, composition of fibre mix and weave pattern.
