Aiuffass, the Belgium-based International Association of Users of Artificial and Synthetic Filament Yarns and of Natural Silk, is known as the watchdog that sturdily defends the trade interests and intellectual property rights of European users of man-made filament yarns and silk. So, its recent suggestion that the EU and China negotiate a free trade agreement for natural silk products may come as a surprise.
