Colour and visual assessment pioneers VeriVide has responded to feedback from a number of major retailers, including Marks & Spencer, for a more efficient and accurate way to measure Blue Wool samples for light fastness deter- VeriVide's colour technical manager, Mick Butterworth explains the rational behind this important development: "The visual assessment of Blue Wool number Four is difficult. As this is used to determine the end-point of the fastness test it is critical in obtaining accurate and repeatable results. Being able to objectively measure and record this critical step will increase the accuracy and consistency of the test for whichever test method is used."
