Bringing the stalled Doha Round to a conclusion that delivers ambitious reforms is "the most immediate priority," says the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Rodrigo de Rato. But it will take many hands to complete this work. Pascal Lamy, head of the World Trade Organisation, has been warning time and again that chances for a deal in the Doha Round talks that have been going on for the past six years could slip away unless clear progress is made soon.
