The Indian textile and apparel major Raymond is considering fabrics for automobile furnishing as a new sector for business expansion. A 50:50 joint venture with the French company, Treves SA, is in the making for this purpose. The joint venture, which is expected to manufacture and sell furnishing material and related products for the automobile industry, will cater to domestic and global markets.
