Sirio Ltd, has been successful in reaching out from the capital city, Colombo, and providing employment opportunities to a large number of rural youth. It has also earned a unique name for itself by using new technology to introduce a range of quality garments to the market. Having its humble beginning in 2002 with a workforce of 50 it has developed into a major concern employing nearly 1,850 people and an investment ofrnUS$15 million as well as an annual production capacity of 19 million pieces of garments.
