With the application of technologies, there is change in the face of the business arena. RFID application provides tangible and non-tangible benefits to the business world of the Supply Chain. Also in the Textile and Apparel Industries, traditional processes are now enhanced by new technology. Nowadays automatic data capture or auto identification technology is booming in the global Textile and Clothing Industries, where currently bar code is used. This can be done also with the help of Radio Frequency Identification technology. The use of RFID combined with the Electronic Product Code (EPC) promises to provide data about products never before available.
