Fall Meeting: The 343rd meeting of the Council was held Thursday, November 20, 1997, at the AATCC Technical Center in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Appropriations Committee: Frederick K. Jones, chairman, reported that the budget for the 1998 IC&E was approved and submitted to both the Executive Committee of the Council and Council for approval. The committee discussed the report of the Building & Grounds subcommittee on expansion of the AATCC Technical Center and their request for $100,000 for feasibility studies. It was decided that the report would be submitted to the Councilors for their study prior to the February committee meetings. The Council will be asked to approve this funding at the February meetings. The documents for setting up AATCC Foundation Inc. have been signed and will be filed with the proper state agencies.
