SMIT TEXTILE will show its latest technological developments at CITME 2006 (Beijing, Oct 17th - 21st) displaying the air-jet machine JS900 weaving polyester cotton apparel and the rapier machine GS900 weaving premium denim. The GS900 gripper weaving machine is designed for boosting up the versatility and productivity features thanks to the technology in which SMIT TEXTILE holds undisputed leadership: the «dynamical control» of flexible rapiers inside the shed, without guiding teeth, a system that safeguards warp yarns from any friction. GS900's maximum efficiency as well as high fabric quality are guaranteed also by the WSC grippers, for maximum weft insertion regularity. The new false selvedges and leno electronic control operates modulation of crossing phase programmable from terminal- pick-to pick, left and right independently, for a quick adaptation to the most varied types of fabric ensuring versatility and efficacy. Maximum regularity, high performance and minimum waste of the weft are achieved thanks to the Electronic Weft Selector (up to 12 colours) and the Electronic Weft Cutter.
