Lindover Dornier GmbH, Lindau, Germany demonstrated at the Itma 2003 Exhibition in Birmingham, U.K., a wide range of rapier weaving and airjet weaving machines. Textile India Progress Senior Editors visited the Dornier booth and the members of top management of this reputed organization explained to the Senior Editors the uniqueness of Dornier rapier and airjet weaving machines. Textile India Progress is pleased to profile the numerous products of Lindauer Dornier GmbH, having production facilities in iindau, Germany, which have enormous demand potential in the Indian textile industry. Inasmuch as India's 3,000 textile mills are undertaking a US$ 20 billion growth plan for modernization, expansion of textile mills, Dornier's rapier and airjet weaving machines certainly have immense growth potential in India and Dornier has excellent opportunity to substantially increase exports of its weaving machines and increase rapidly its market share in exports of weaving machines to India. It is noteworthy that ever since the Sixties, Dornier rapier weaving machines have been in use worldwide as reliable production equipment by the most fashionable upholstery fabric weavers. Dornier manufactures rapier weaving machines for universal use, for technical fabrics, for home furnishings, and also produces airjet weaving machines for technical and leno fabrics, for terry fabrics, etc. All the products information is given for information of the 3,000 textil millowners of India's textile mills and also for the textile mill owners of the world textile mills.
