Water is the most vital resource of the 21st century with only three per cent of the total available water in the world being fresh. While secure water supply is regarded most important, safe drinking water supply is impossible without the use of the latest technology. Our rivers, lakes and other water reserves are increasingly at risk due to various environmental factors such as the release of municipal waste and effluents from industries. Today, technological progress offers a lot of possibilities based on environmental protection. The ecological focus is on water protection and the multiple use of wastewater.
