The second national conference on "Functional Textiles and Apparels" - NFTA 2007 -held in Coimbatore on February 22-23 brought together representatives of industry and research and academia across the country. The conference was organized by the Department of Textile Technology, PSG College of Technology. Dr. Ron Postle, Professor of Textile Physics, School of Chemistry, University of New Southwales, was the chief guest. Dr. R. Rudramoorthy, Principal of PSG College of Technology, delivered the welcome address.
