This article describes the new development of a padding machine which is equally suited for the finishing of woven fabrics and knitted goods. The padder features two horizontal, parallel Swimming Rolls Kusters and new roller rubber which are consistent over a wide range. The machine also possesses a reversible fabric guide system and optimized troughs suitable for woven fabrics and knitwear. A quick cleaning device is responsible for high productivity. The machine is characterized by high up-time, modern drive technology and good economy and ecology over the entire product life-cycle.
