The "soupe populaire" is the French term for soup kitchen, so the place where free food is given to the needy - however, it remains a keen, culinary dream that the creations of starred cook Tim Raue could be had forfree (he received two stars in 2012 in the Michelin Guide 2013 for his restaurant on the Rudi-Dutschke-Str. 26). The Kreuzberger by birth has at least partially left his neighbourhood and established a second restaurant in the Prenzlauer Berg.
