Over 100 events ran parallel or especially for the Pitti Uomo in the Fortezza da Basso or in and around the city of Florence from which the following ones created a highlights:rnPitti People: A group of young photographers promoted the visitors to event stars. The beautiful people from many nations were celebrated in portraits, snapshots, staged pictures and close-ups on the Fortezza grounds and hoisted on a picture viewing panel over hundred metres long. The number of pictures grew each day and thus also the diversity. Even viewers were integrated into the work of art by built-in mirrors.
