摘要

Phosphorescent pigments are characterized by their ability to absorb and store natural or artificial light and then emit it in the form of visible light when in the dark. The cycle of absorbing, storing and emitting will repeat itself over a long period of time. Phosphorescent pigments can also be applied on fabrics mixed with the binder in form of printing. Hence phosphorescent pigments can be used on textiles as colour and shimmer play a very important role in fashion. The objectives of designing have been achieved by imparting glow to the object which can then be identified in the dark through phosphorescent pigments. The present study is an attempt to find the most suitable concentration for phosphorescent pigments on cotton & cotton-polyester fabric for assessing the physical parameters.
