In this work an attempt has been made to study the effect of enzyme and softener treatment on 2X4 warp rib woven fabric it was found that there was increase in yarn fineness and dimensional stability. The bending path, crease recovery angle and drapability showed significant improvement. On treatment with special finishes resistance to abrasion and tensile strength decreased an on the other hand excellent resistance to pilling was noticed.
