摘要

To make the value added styles of Top-Trouser, the additional constructional features were worked out keeping in mind the problems pointed out by the working women i.e. short length (above/up to hip) 'followed by no provision of keeping belongings'. The additional constructional features incorporated in top were 'pocket', 'collars', 'back yoke', 'princess line style', 'kalidar style with additional features', 'cowl style' and 'front opening style' to give modest look and business like in appearance for working women compatible at work place. The major problem reported by the respondents regarding ready made trousers are 'available in limited varieties of fabrics'.
