The Irish region held a lecture in Technical University Dublin (TUD) on 26 September. The presentation was entitled The Irish Courts, Courtroom Etiquette and Procedures, and was presented by Darren Connolly, barrister. Connolly is known to many of the Irish members as a lecturer in TUD which teaches section two of the IAEA written examination module. This section is about motor vehicle legislation as related to insurance principles. His experience as a practicing barrister and lecturer of section two gave him a unique insight into the role of a motor assessor and their duties to the court.
