With the festive season now a distant memory, we find ourselves in the dawn of a new and exciting decade. I sincerely hope the past uncertainty and instability that we experienced since the referendum vote in 2016 is now behind us and, with a new majority government in power, confidence will be restored to the global economy and our industry. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and successful new year. I hope we can build on the successes of the past as we move forward into a new era for the Institute.
