I attended the first sessions of ex-Metropolitan Police collision expert, Alan Partridge's setting-up of The Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators and subsequently set up an independent company, advising insurers on the engineering side of claims assessing. I found this work stressful, with the 21st Century service levels dictating 'rush' and it was difficult to make ends meet/ work economically.
