Braking and being seen by traffic behind is crucial for those on motorbikes; to help with this BMW Motorrad has developed a new dynamic brake light system as a component of the strategy 'Safety 360'. It is an improved method of informing following vehicles when a motorcycle in front of them is braking. The additional brake light function warns following traffic in two stages when the motorcycle in front brakes hard or makes an emergency braking manoeuvre.
