The current financial tightening of belts being felt by many people across the UK is having a direct impact on how often we service our cars. This is potentially increasing the number of un-safe cars being driven on our roads. Twenty-two per cent went on to state that they had deliberately not had their car serviced in the past 12 month due to the cost. Worryingly 41% of the respondents believed incorrectly that an annual MOT means that their car is then roadworthy for the next 12 month.
