A friend of mine related a story recently about the time, many moons ago, when he spotted a motorbike in a canal. It was a cold day which made the water clear enough to see to the bottom. Being young and adventurous, he winched out said machine with the help of a friend and length of rope. As they wheeled it along the road, deciding what to do with it, a car stopped and the driver called out, in a shocked voice/Where did you get that bike?'It turned out the vehicle was one the driver had had stolen some time previously and before driving away, he issued the following command:'Don't tell anyone you've found it!'
