Nearly half of motorists say they would not consider a more eco-friendly vehicle if Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) tax breaks were increased, a poll by the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) has found. Fifty per cent think it is fair that VED on cars is based on the CO2 it produces.
