Over many years, the Institute has received numerous enquiries from members attempting to raise awareness of the impact of the current fees outlined within the industry, but more recently the ABI General Terms of Agreement (GTA), which reflects an agreement between ABI insurer members and credit hire organisations on business that meets certain criteria. The IAEA would like to, first of all, advise all members that it has no influence over the ABI as it is not a member of this organisation (the IAEA is not an insurer), nor can it influence the fees charged for the services of any of its member(s) set out within such agreements.
