Steve's lecture related the rising interest in hybrid and electric vehicles and the need to be aware of correct procedures when engaged in the repair of such vehicles. He outlined the various makes and types that are currently available on the market. While, at the moment, there are not great numbers in service, there is the likelihood of gradually increasing future use. Accordingly the repair trade and inspecting engineers must keep abreast of the technology employed and should have the training and knowledge to cope correctly.
