The last time we swept the Cessna 190/195 accident record, we found that the type suffers a boringly predictable pattern. In the seven years since we last looked, nothing has changed. The Cessna 190/195, being among the heavier taildraggers that any GA pilot is likely to fly, suffer an inordinately high incidence of groundloop and R-LOC.
