Featuring technology developed by INX International, a decorator using digital print heads for beverage cans has been launched by Stolle Machinery. The machine is expected to be used for customised graphics in short production runs. Capable of printing photo-quality images on up to 60 beverage cans per minute with a resolution of 720 x 1,000dpi, the Digital Decorator uses a flexible configuration that can be customised to with a number of print stations, basecoat, varnish and infeed and discharge options according to need.
