The latest Cap Can development by Dayton Systems Group (DSG) results from a collaboration with sealant manufacturer Actega DS, which has developed its thermoplastic Svelon 520L which is PVC-free and conforms with FDA and EU regulations. Suitable for pasteurisation, hot fill, cold fill, retorting and aseptic filling the sealant is said to be extremely flexible and soft in the most arduous of conditions. Products that can be used will include mineral water, carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, tea, beer, wine and sparkling wines.
