With sales of its Tomato Ketchup up by 12 percent worldwide, Heinz announced that sales for the quarter ended in October were 3.5 percent up at US$2.6 billion. rnProfits after taxes were up 21 percent to £277 million. rnSales of the North American Consumer Products segment increased 9.4 percent, with organic growth of 10.9 percent. Net prices grew 8 percent, reflecting price increases taken across the majority of the product portfolio over the last year to help offset higher commodity costs.
