In the product design of olive oil, focusing on the selection of capacity of glass bottle, design has been carried out on the glass bottle, shrink label, and external box with attention paid to how to meet the social needs for environmental protection and other such factors. Edible oil is one of designated combustibles, and thus it must follow the regulations on transport containers stipulated by the Fire Service Law, and it is required to have a spatial volume exceeding a specified limit. The design of external box was based on the product unit weight, compression of partition height, appearance. and other such factors. The problems occurred in the packaging process during the tests were all solved by the improve- ments of bottle coating agents, bulk band tension bulk specifications, bottle maker lines, our pro- duction lines, and physical distribution.
