The 2008 All-island Public Consultation Conference will be held on November 13th in the Croke Park conference centre. Both public and private sector professionals should benefit enormously from attending this event as it will demonstrate through Irish and international case studies how best practice public consultation contributes to the successful delivery of projects and policy initiatives that are in the public eye. Focussing on the areas of infrastructure and urban development, with a keynote address by former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone and break-out sessions by experienced industry players, the event will also be covering upcoming Irish legislation changes which reflect the governments' consideration of the value of public participation in the planning process.
