Recently, environmental issues have been increasingly focused on in society. The Container- Packaging recycle Law in Japan went into force April 2000, which paves the way for construc- tion of a resource-recycling society. Kao Corp. Aims to develop "container-packaging that con- sumers find easy to use and dispose of", and promotes a conservation policy of energy and re- Sources, based on the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
