摘要

In order to assist in bottle design, we have developed a tool that can simulate various steps of the blow molding process in sequence, from extrusion through clamping and blow molding to cooling and shrink-deformation. Based on this simulation, we have developed applications for various purposes, including optimization of thickness distribution, reduction in resin, and die shape generation, all of which can be utilized directly in design process. We will hereafter work to further improve the digital engineering environment, with integration with a CAD system at the data level in mind.
