The Kingdom of Heaven is like this. Once there was a man who went out early in the morning to hire some men to work in his field. He agreed to pay them the regular wage-so many shekels per day depending on whetheryou were a labourer, an assistant labourer, or one who instructed the others-and sent them to work in hisfield. And all this was on the understanding that each labourer would pay the owner 30 shekels at the end of the month to process their wages.
