The recently established joint venture between Fincantieri and China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) has signed a non-binding agreement to build the first vessels built in China for the Chinese cruise market. The agreement covers two cruise vessels to be built for a cruise brand owned and operated by a joint venture between Carnival Corp, CSSC and CIC Capital, with an option for an additional two ships.
