Scania has introduced a new 16-litre diesel engine, intended to replace the existing similarly-sized engine in the Swedish engine company's high speed marine diesel portfolio. "This is a completely new engine designed from the bottom up", commented Robert Sobocki, the senior vice-president of Scania Engines.
