Japanese classification society ClassNK and Finnish marine software house NAPA are to collaborate on a compre-hensive solution for realising the SEEMP requirements, which are due to come into force in January 2013. The SEEMP (ship energy efficiency management plan) solution from ClassNK and NAPA will combine modules to optimise trim, route and speed optimisation and weather routing with an analytics service to offer operational efficiency and decision support.
