GEA Westfalia's Eagleclass separator was launched two years ago, and the company says that it has been well received, forming some 90% of contracted orders. This is said to because of the new separators' ability to focus precisely on fuel and oil quality. The Unitrolplus technology permits full automatic monitoring and control of the treatment process, precisely measuring the water content and taking further measurements of the contents of the bowl with regard to sludge caking. This can help minimise oil losses and contributes tooptimum separation efficiency.
